Description |
DHS hosted an event held in the Maplewood park area, to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the community. The event was highlighted by a rededication of the 11 streets of the commmunity, which featured remarks by the families of 10 of the 11 service people killed in WWII for whom the streets were named. Records of the event are stored in 3 archival boxes labeled Maplewood, in the Archive room. This record contains a number of photos taken at the event by Fletcher Walls. |
